So, the last week has been kind of uneventful. I've been pretty much working and coming home to my kids. My roomie who has been my babysitter for a week and a half now has decided to no longer serve in that capacity, and I think it has to do with the fact that our other roomie (her bf) doesn't like to be interrupted while playing Worlds of Warcraft (which is what he spends 85-90% of his time doing). That game is like crack apparently; I must be missing out on one hell of an awesome game, or am I? Anyways, within a day of being notified of her retirement as my babysitter I found a new one, someone that I think will work out a lot better (since she already has two children and is over 10 years older than my current babysitter) so this turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I've been attempting to get some side work writing papers for lazy college students, but one of the two people who said they wanted papers done has found every excuse in the world not to send me the assignments (I think it's her passive-aggressive way of not having me do her papers without her having the cojones to simply say 'no') and the other guy waited until a day before the paper was due to send me an 8-page biology assignment, which the jury is still out on wether or not I should do it. I asked him 3 weeks ago to e-mail me the assignment but he waited until today. I think when I print fliers advertising my services I'm going to have a little note on there stating that no papers will be done without 48 hours to complete them.

I've been watching movies that I downloaded, such as Stephen King's It, 3:10 to Yuma, Hitman, American Psycho and now I'm trying to find parts 3 and 4 of The Stand (having already watched parts 1 and 2) but without luck. Some of these movies I had already seen but wanted to see again. I think I'll download John Carpenter's They Live next, and probably American Gangster as well.

So I decided to get one of these LiveJournals. For a couple of years now people have been asking me if I had one. I am a very private person, it took my brother many moons to talk me into even getting a MySpace account. I had bad experiences growing up in various orphanages and foster homes where my journal would be stolen by the fascist authorities and used against me. They used it to attempt to get inside my head, to find out what I had done, etc. So I am naturally very wary of journals and the like. But I decided to say fuck it and give this a shot. We shall see how it goes.
